Back in the summer, Accolade Consulting signed up to the Accredit UK standard in the specialism of Software Product Design and Development. Since then we have been beavering away, tweaking our processes and getting the evidence together for the site inspection.
I am delighted to announce that Accolade has passed the certification process and is now fully accredited. The accreditation is recognition of the technical excellence we bring to bespoke software development projects and the sound business practices that we have put in place.
The goal of the Accredit UK standard is to give customers confidence that they are dealing with credible companies supplying ICT solutions. While this is useful for ICT in general, I believe it is invaluable for customers looking for bespoke software suppliers. Building bespoke software can be an expensive investment and customers need to be able to trust the supplier they are dealing with.
